How We Do Business

The ICT Practice (VBS Support Ltd.) is accredited with the National Computing Centre’s scheme AccredIT UK as a competent business to provide ICT consultancy and services. This places stringent conditions upon us in the way we do business with our customers, partners and suppliers. It requires that our procedures demonstrate our ability, at all times, to adhere to national standards of IT service and supply.

Example: In the case of service to our customers, it requires that we obtain the fullest understanding the customer’s requirements and aims, and that we record and communicate our understanding to gain agreement at every stage before supplying advice, service or materials. The detailed extent do which this is done depends upon the complexity of the project. However, in all cases the following procedure is used:

Information gathering of the Customer’s requirements

Record and communicate our understanding of the requirement to the customer and obtain agreement

Provide written advice and quotation

Obtain an Official Order

Acknowledge the receipt of the order repeating our supply of a service or equipment

Proceed with the supply of advice, service and materials ordered in the agreed timeframe.

Seek acceptance and payment
